Explore the historical and religious landmarks of Haifa, Acre, and Rosh Hanikra. Meet your professional guide at the ship pier and step into your air conditioned vehicle. Depending on the number of people signed up, you will usually travel by van or mini coach.  Departing the cruise pier you will start with a visit at the Stella Maris lookout point at the nearby Carmelite Monastery where you will learn about Napoleon and the Carmelite history that took place at this site. From here you will continue to Elijah’s cave, which is revered as sacred by Christians, Druze, Jews, and Muslims – who believe that the prophet Elijah battled the Ba'al Prophets in this very cave. It is also believed that the Holy Mary, Jesus, and Joseph found shelter in this cave on their return from Egypt.  From here continue to the Bahai Hanging Gardens, a UNESCO heritage site at the heart of Mount Carmel for a great photo opportunity of the gardens and the Haifa Bay.
